It's That Time Of Year

This year the Parade of Homes will begin February 15th, and run through February 24th. Thankfully, I'm not working at Far West this year and will be able to actually enjoy the Parade instead of spending time sitting at a booth in a freezing garage. If anyone is interested in going like we girls usually do, let me know! We can make a day of it! If you want to go to the website and check out the houses to get a head start on which ones we should visit this year, click HERE.

Scentsy Party

Ok, so I'm not really the type of person who would normally host a party for some sort of product. But I've heard about Scentsy and really think it's a fun product and I have a friend that just became a Scentsy Sales Rep. So, I am going to be having a Scentsy Party at my house sometime in the next month or so. What I'm wondering is if any of you Johnson women folk would be interested in coming. I really don't want to pressure you at all. Please don't say you want to come just so it doesn't hurt my feelings. I know I've been to more "Product Parties" than I can count, that I didn't want to be at, and I don't want anyone to feel that way at mine. I'm just having a party so that I can have fun with the women I know, see a good friend that I don't get to see much, and help her out in her new business. If you would be interested just comment or e-mail me and let me know what days of the week would be best for you. Seriously, NO PRESSURE! If you want to come just to see me and Joe's new house, and have some free food, that's fine! I just want to have a fun time, I don't want anyone to feel like they have to buy something. If you could let me know in the next few days that would be so great. My friend needs to schedule her trip down here from Wyoming, and I want to be able to give her a pretty good estimate of how many guests I'll have. Thanks so much for everything!

Marcia's First Blog Post!

Hi everyone,
I don't know what the heck I am doing burt I guess I'll find out! Whoops! Me and burt will find out! I love reading all these blogs? Is that what they're called? Are you getting older Kim? I hadn't noticed because I'm having a hard time seeing through my droopy, wrinkley eyes! Time does seem to fly by though. It seems that it was just yesterday that Dean and I got married and worried that we wouldn't have any kids! Hmmm, funny thing about that. I love the picture of Joe's truck! Christmas was so much fun this year, maybe because I felt the spirit a little more this year because we have been so blessed. It has been a harder year work wise but other wise it has been an awesome year and we have an even better one coming up. Our family has been added to and it has been a great experience with new little ones and new big ones, thanks to Kim, Jade, Kelly, Wyatt, Gideon and Brynlee. The Lord has really blessed our family. Well, run of the mouth is done and I guess I'll figure out how to put things on here for wrestling and stuff. Lisa, is there a way to get Shane and Brandi's family picture to a size 8x10 and the grandkids picture to an 8x10 also? Thanks,
Me,mom

Grandkid Picture

Here is the 2007 Johnson Family Grandkid picture! I hope everyone likes it. I'll definitely be more prepared next time we get that bunch together! If anyone wants a CD with the picture on it, just let me know and I'll burn one for you. If you want a CD with ALL the pictures we took I can do that too, but the other pictures are not edited like this one is.

First Ever Post On The Johnson Famly Blog

Welcome to the Johnson family blog! We started this Family Blog so that we can all keep in touch when it comes to family news and events! Anyone in the family can get on the blog and post anything and everything. This will definitely be great when it comes to sharing information on what's going on with all the different members of the Johnson Family.

If you are unsure of what types of things to post about here is a list of possible ideas:

  • Sporting Events (Day, time, place, who is involved)
  • School Events (Plays, music recitals, etc)
  • Family News
  • Family Reunion Information
  • Birthday Information (what day we will celebrate birthdays for that month)
  • Fun Pictures or Family Stories

All you have to do to get set up to post is to send your e-mail address to Lisa (leese1015@gmail.com) and she will get you set up to be able to post. It's fast and easy!

I hope we can all use this Blog as a way to keep in touch and get information to everyone! Please let Lisa know if you have any problems or questions! Thanks!
